Die Königlich Thailändische Botschaft in Berlin lädt JazzRadio-Hörer und ihre Freunde zu einem kostenlosen Konzert am 6. Dezember ein, um das Leben im Jazz ihres verstorbenen Königs zu feiern, der 2016 im Alter von 88 Jahren verstarb.
 
Zwei der beliebtesten thailändischen Musiker, der Pianist Dareen Pantoomkomol und der Saxophonist Taweesak Booranapanitpan, kommen aus Bangkok geflogen, um bei dem Konzert im The Ellington Hotel zu spielen.
 
König Bhumibol Adulyadej von Thailand war ein bekannter Jazzkomponist und spielte selbst mehrere Musikinstrumente, darunter Klavier und Saxophon. Mehrere seiner Kompositionen werden bei dem Konzert gespielt.
 
Die Königlich Thailändische Botschaft lädt Sie herzlich zu A Journey into Thai Jazz ein: Ein Konzert zum Gedenken an den verstorbenen König Bhumibol Adulyadej von Thailand am Donnerstag, den 6. Dezember 2018, von 19.00 bis 21.00 Uhr im Femina Saal, Ellington Hotel, Nürnbergerstraße, 50 – 55, 10789 Berlin. Anmeldung ab 18.30 Uhr.

The King Who Loved Jazz

The Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin is inviting JazzRadio listeners and their friends to a free concert on 6. December to celebrate the life in Jazz of their late King, who died 2016 at the age of 88.

Two of Thailand’s top musicians, pianist Dareen Pantoomkomol and saxophonist Taweesak Booranapanitpan, have flown from Bangkok to perform at the concert at The Ellington Hotel.

King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand was a noted jazz composer and himself played several musical instruments including the piano and saxophone. Several of his compositions will be played at the concert.
