JazzRadio is a 24/7 radio station broadcasting (in German) to Berlin-Brandenburg on 106,8 fm and worldwide on the Internet at: www.jazzradio.net.
We have a small team of five employees. A further four self-employed, part-time freelancers make an important contribution, in both programming and in sales.
News bulletins and technical support are supplied by agencies.

 

Sales & Marketing

JazzRadio sells advertising and sponsorships to clients, mainly in the regional market in Berlin-Brandenburg. We are pleased to receive applications from experienced salespeople – your experience does not have to have been in radio.

Interns

At any one time, JazzRadio has up to three interns full-time, with some part-time interns contributing only to evening programmes (6pm – 12 am), Monday to Friday. We regret we are not able to offer payment to our interns.
You will be involved fully in the work of the radio station. Interns make a useful contribution but it is also important to us that we provide our interns with solid experience which will help them in their future career.
Full-time internships are normally for a minimum of three months but often longer. Hours are mainly 9.30 am – 5.30 pm. Interns are expected to contribute in all areas of JazzRadio’s operations: Administration, Programming, Sales & Marketing, Website and Events. Voices

JazzRadio is always pleased to hear from actors and actresses with a good professional voice, to record scripts for on-air commercial spots. These are done on a freelance basis, with payment per script. You may work from your home (or other) studio or come into JazzRadio’s own studios to record spots.
